ENCONTROS from Moa Nunes, Fernando Lima & Giovanni Zazzera

Encontros is a choreographic piece for 9 daners directed by Moa Nunes, in collaboration with the brazilian choregorapher Fernando Lima and the choreographer Giovanni Zazzera from Luxembourg/Italy.

The piece was performed at the Théâtre de l’Abbaye de Neumunster in 2018.

In our lifetime, we encounter thousands of people. We play small parts in the lives of these people and they affect our lives, sometimes briefly and superficially, sometimes deeply and profoundly. With some, we form a deep, soulful connection. Some pass us by, and we barely notice. Some leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same again. Our lives get tangled with the lives of the people around us, our energies blend and come apart again. We get pulled into relationships and the bonds we make sometimes grow stronger and sometimes break, making us to drift apart.
